Central Gauteng Athletics hosted a very successful 1st league of the 2022 Cross Country season on Saturday, 7 May 2022 at Sam Ntuli Stadium in Thokoza.

As expected, over 500 athletes came in numbers to display exceptional performances. It was great to see the support from all the Cross Country athletes as COVID-19 regulations and protocols are eased.

We have once again partnered with SmacPix as the event photographer. Please visit their website for the league photos at www.smacpix.co.za

The entry fee for athletes is R15, and R30 for spectators. No temporary licenses will be sold for the 2022 cross country season. We are expecting more athletes at the next league which will be held at Dobsonville Communal Hall on 21 May 2022. Entries for the next league will open on Wednesday, 11 May 2022, and close on Tuesday, 17 May 2022. The entry and results link: www.cgacrosscountry.com

Please note that as from the 2nd league, the programme times have been adjusted for the last event to finish at 15h35.

Herewith, please find the attached updated Fixtures and programme, and the results for the 1st league at Sam Ntuli Stadium in Thokoza.

We would appreciate it if you can share this information with your respective athletes and coaches.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the 21 May 2022.
