Central Gauteng Athletics will be hosting the CGA Global Virtual Shot Put and Discus event from Friday, 31 July to Sunday, 2 August 2020 in partnership with Pierre Blignaut Academy.

This virtual event aims to keep our athletes active during this period. Athletes will be competing in the comfort of their own homes in line with Covid-19 protocols and health safety guidelines. The event will be open to all the athletes interested with the main target being athletes that are medal potential at National and International events.

CGA Track and Field commission is excited to host this virtual event and confirmed that more virtual events covering other events of track and field is on the cards during these difficult times of COVID-19 pandemic in the country and around the world.
