Central Gauteng Athletics announces the team to represent the province at the South Africa Cross Country Championships to be held on the 16 September 2023 at Nelson Mandela University Sports Fields in Gqeberha.  

The compulsory team meeting will be held on Sunday, 3 September 2023 at Germiston Stadium at 14h00 to give final team arrangements.  

Athletes selected in the team are required to accept and confirm the selection using the below link not later than Thursday, 31 August 2023: 2023 SA Cross Country Team Selection Confirmation  

In order to better manage the distribution of the provincial clothing to athletes, we are requesting clubs to appoint a coordinator who will collect the clothing on Sunday, 3 September 2023 between 10h00 and 12h00 and distribute it to all club’s selected athletes. Athletes will be expected to use the colours for the next 3 years. If your athletes have received the clothing with the other CGA teams, they do not qualify to receive provincial colours with this team.
