The ladies displayed exceptional competitiveness with a close win of Marlize in the height of 1.70 followed by Julie and Mariette in the heights of 1.55 and 1. 60 respectively.
In an overcast afternoon and during the race a sudden rain sums up the action of the day in the 10,000m Senior Men and Women event, which was started by a total of 42 athletes chasing the victory.
