Central Gauteng Athletics announces the inclusion of the 8 to 13 years age category on the provincial team for the South Africa Cross Country Championships to be held on the 17 and 18 September 2021 at Hutchison Park in Amanzimtoti.

The additional age groups which are 8 to 13 years old will be competing on day 1 of the championships on 17 September 2021.

We are, therefore, requesting the additional age groups to attend the compulsory team meeting scheduled for Sunday, 12 September 2021 at Germiston Stadium at 10h00 to give final team arrangements.

We would appreciate it if clubs could advise the selected athletes accordingly and revert back to our office with vest and tracksuit sizes (only athletes that were not selected for CGA teams in the past 3 years will get clothing). We also request that athletes with their own travel and accommodation advise the office accordingly.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all additional selected athletes for the National Championships.
